This page will be updated throughout the year with all the latest Red Sox injury news and transactions. The first weekend of June brings highly encouraging news from our pitching rehab assignments in the minor leagues:

Garrett Crochet (LHP)Left shoulder / lat tightnessJulyTransferred to the 60-day IL on June 5. This move was purely procedural, as the 60 days expire in late June before he’s ready anyway. IIdled from throwing.
Trevor Story (SS)Sports herniaAfter the All-Star breakTransferred to the 60-day IL on June 4. Given the 8-to-12 week timetable following his May 21 surgery, he won’t be eligible until right after the break.
