MiLB Farm Report from June 3, 2026

Sea Dogs & Drive Rake, Bitter Blowout for Worcester

Welcome back, Red Sox Nation, to the daily farm report on fenway-fans.de! The slate of games on June 3, 2026, showed us two completely different sides of our farm system. While the prospects in Double-A and High-A put on an impressive offensive clinic and secured clear victories, the WooSox experienced a day they should erase from the history books as quickly as possible. Salem also suffered a dramatic late loss.

Here is the recap of June 3, 2026!

Worcester Red Sox (AAA) – An Offensive Blackout and a Historic 12-0 Thrashing

Final Score: Buffalo Bisons 12 – Worcester Red Sox 0

There are days when absolutely nothing goes right – and this Wednesday was exactly one of those days for the WooSox. The Bisons completely steamrolled Worcester 12-0.

The offense was practically non-existent. The entire team managed a measly three hits (a double by Jason Delay and singles by Mikey Romero and Braiden Ward). The pitching staff, starting with Grant Anderson (4.0 IP, 3 ER) and the bullpen (especially Angel Bastardo, who gave up 5 runs), was heavily punished. In the end, the game was so out of hand that catcher/first baseman Nathan Hickey had to take the mound to pitch the ninth inning (giving up 3 runs in the process). Brush it off and move on!

WooSox Highlights:

  • Jason Delay: One of the very few bright spots with a double.
  • Otherwise: A day to forget quickly.

Portland Sea Dogs (AA) – Home Run Barrage Secures a Wild 10-7 Slugfest

Final Score: Hartford Yard Goats 7 – Portland Sea Dogs 10

If you love home runs and non-stop action on the basepaths, this game was an absolute dream! The Sea Dogs defeated the Yard Goats in a fiery offensive spectacle, 10-7.

Three different Sea Dogs players launched the ball over the fence: Ahbram Liendo, Johanfran Garcia, and Will Turner all hit crucial home runs. Liendo capped off his outstanding performance with a 3-for-4 night, a double, a home run, and a massive 3 RBIs. Nelly Taylor also delivered in clutch moments, putting 3 RBIs on the board with his double. The bullpen, led by Ryan Feeney (Win) and Reidis Sena (Save, 2.0 IP, 0 ER), closed the door with nerves of steel.

Sea Dogs Highlights:

Greenville Drive (High-A) – Winnay and Jackson Lead the Drive to a 9-3 Victory

Final Score: Greenville Drive 9 – Rome Emperors 3

A squeaky-clean team performance secured a relaxed 9-3 win for the Greenville Drive against the Emperors.

The offense clicked right from the first inning. Jack Winnay once again showed his fantastic form, hammering his ninth home run of the season (2 RBIs) in the fifth inning. Isaiah Jackson also shined with a valuable 2-run double. On the mound, Devin Futrell (4.1 IP, 2 ER) provided a rock-solid start before Ben Hansen took over and secured the well-deserved win with 3.2 strong innings (only 1 run, 4 strikeouts).

Drive Highlights:

Salem RidgeYaks (Single-A) – Brilliant Pitching Punished with a Walk-off Loss

Final Score: Salem RidgeYaks 1 – Carolina Warbirds 2

A bitter ending for the RidgeYaks in a true pitcher’s duel. Salem held a narrow 1-0 lead for a long time but gave the game away in the eighth (and final) inning.

The absolute star of the game was RidgeYaks starter Frank Gilman. He threw a fantastic 6.0 innings, allowing zero runs and only two opposing hits. A true masterpiece! Offensively, a 6th-inning RBI single from Frederik Jimenez was all they could muster. In the eighth inning, the dream of a win was shattered: Reliever Wuilliams Rodriguez gave up two runs and suffered the walk-off loss.

Salem Highlights:

Adonys Guzman: The best hitter of the day with 2 hits, including a double.

Frank Gilman: 6.0 shutout innings, only 2 hits allowed. Brilliant!
