MiLB Farm Report 06/02/2026

Sea Dogs Shutout Masterpiece, Arias Fires Away, and WooSox Drama!

Welcome back, Red Sox Nation, to the daily farm report on fenway-fans.de! Yesterday’s slate of games had a bit of everything to offer. From absolute dominance on the mound to real power at the plate and late-game drama. Once again, our top prospects were front and center, delivering impressive performances.

Here is your compact recap of the minor league action from June 2, 2026!

Worcester Red Sox (AAA) – Late Drama Secures the W

Final Score: Buffalo Bisons 2 – Worcester Red Sox 3

The WooSox found themselves in a real neck-and-neck race with the Bisons and managed to keep their nerve, coming out on top 3-2.

Starting pitcher Hunter Bennett delivered an outstanding performance, completely shutting down the Buffalo offense over 5.0 innings (allowing just 1 hit and striking out 4). The WooSox offense initially struggled, but Mikey Romero made a statement with a triple, and Anthony Seigler hit a valuable double. In the end, it was the bullpen that brought the game home, with Kyle Keller securing the win after a tense finish in the ninth inning!

WooSox Highlights:

  • Hunter Bennett: Brilliant start with 5.0 shutout innings.
  • Mikey Romero: Showcased speed and power with his second triple of the season.

Portland Sea Dogs (AA) – Shutout Dominance and Arias Power!

Final Score: Portland Sea Dogs 9 – Hartford Yard Goats 0

What a show of force by our Sea Dogs! A flawless 9-0 shutout victory where every single gear meshed perfectly.

Especially pleasing: Franklin Arias remains on fire! Our top prospect hammered his 13th home run of the season over the fence in the seventh inning, securing 2 RBIs. Brooks Brannon also flexed his muscles, contributing a 2-run home run.

On the mound, Portland was untouchable. Mac Eyanson (Win) laid the perfect foundation with 5.0 scoreless innings before Brenden Halligan (3.0 IP, 0 H, 4 K) and Eduardo Rivera (1.0 IP, 0 R) completed the shutout masterpiece out of the bullpen.

Sea Dogs Highlights:

  • Franklin Arias: The kid keeps delivering! 1 HR (13), 2 RBIs.
  • Mac Eyanson & The Bullpen: 9.0 Innings, 0 Runs, 6 Hits. Pitching perfection.
  • Tyler McDonough & Nate Baez: Both impressed with crucial RBI doubles.

Greenville Drive (High-A) – Bullpen Collapse Costs the Game

Final Score: Greenville Drive 2 – Rome Emperors 8

For a long time, it looked like the Drive might dominate the game, but a disastrous seventh inning sealed their fate.

Starting pitcher Trenton Phillips was fantastic (4.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 5 K). But when the bullpen took over, the defense crumbled. The Emperors exploded for an unbelievable six runs in the seventh against Tyler Vogatsky. The Drive offense, led by Enddy Azocar (2 hits) and Mason White (1 double), unfortunately couldn’t find an answer after that.

Drive Highlights:

  • Trenton Phillips: An extremely strong outing that unfortunately went unrewarded.
  • Enddy Azocar: Consistent at the plate with two hits and a stolen base.

Salem RidgeYaks (Single-A) – Skylar King Shines Despite Errors

Final Score: Salem RidgeYaks 7 – Carolina Warbirds 14

A wild game for our RidgeYaks, which sadly slipped away due to five (!) defensive errors. The Warbirds ruthlessly capitalized on these blunders, scoring 14 runs.

Nevertheless, there was a massive bright spot for our offense: Skylar King had an unbelievable night! He went 3-for-4 and launched TWO home runs (his 6th and 7th of the season), bringing in 3 RBIs total. Catcher Kleyver Salazar also rewarded himself with his fourth home run of the year. Unfortunately, this impressive power wasn’t enough to compensate for the leaky defense.

Salem Highlights:

Kleyver Salazar: Also sent the ball into the stands with a solo shot.

Skylar King: The absolute standout! 2 Home Runs, 3 Hits, 3 RBIs.
